2. A Cap for the Purest

   This cap is great. It took a little bit to used to, and I think that the more it's used the smoother it comes off and on. I've tired both the plasitic and titanium caps. The plasitc was easlier to use at first but now I prefer the titanium cap. It's nice to konw that I have a cap that won't melt.

   Bought a couple extra caps to go with the canteen/cookset. Titanium rocks. This is a great product. Lighter than my plastic gear and I've beat it over a fire (not the cap, but canteen and pot. Tough stuff.

   You definitely notice the weight difference between this and the US Military canteen cup, I have mine from when I was serving still and 2 older styles. They are workhorses for sure, but a new lighter one that don't take as long to heat water in is great also.

   After having it a few week I Really like it. It is light, sturdy and Titanium. What more would you want.

   this should come with the canteen but dont understand why it doesnt .it completes the titanium canteen and is worth the extra money

   If you've bought the Ti canteen then this is a no brainer!
   Really good quality bits of kit.

   it's well made, it seals perfect with an O-Ring, It's Titanium and for a little more than 11 Bucks - it's a MUST HAVE

   The titanium lid is the way to go. I understand they want to keep the cost of the canteen set down, but $10 bucks more isn't a big deal.

    Why are you even reading the reviews on this? If you read the reviews on the titanium canteen kit than you would know this is a must have item for it. Just buy it for the titanium canteen kit, Mine fits perfectly. If you are buying it for your other canteen kit(s) I really think you should live with your parents forever.
